Directions to Homer from Anchorage:
Homer is located on the Kenai Peninsula, only 225 miles from Anchorage and approximately a 4 to 5 hour drive. Take the Seward Highway South out of Anchorage. You will come to a junction with signs for Seward and Homer. Follow the signs to Homer as you travel along the Sterling Highway. Homer is located at the "end of the road".
Start looking for the dove tail log cabin on your right,
a half mile after you pass the Homer Overlook, and right as you head down the hill into Homer. The upper cabin has a green roof and a large rock on the side of the road with the address 2525. If you go into
town (2 more miles), you have gone too far.
